The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile presents everything you need to know about your connection and what plugins are
set to run, along with their status. Activate or deactivate plugins; double-click to change settings. Even the battery charge level
of your device is shown.
Calendar Events Plugin Settings
Each plugin offers settings to customize syncing to your needs. For example, the Events plugin allows you to
sync or overwrite the device, choose to sync all or only selected calendars and how far back in the calendar to go.
Notes Plugin Settings
The Notes plugin lets you choose with which of several Mac apps you want to sync notes from your device. Choose
to sync all or only certain categories.
Music Plugin Settings
It's easy to select which iTunes playlists to copy to your device. Just check those you want on your device, and
The Missing Sync will download the corresponding unprotected music and podcasts during the next sync.
Photos Plugin Settings
The Photos plugin gives you two capabilities: Resize and download photos to your device, and import photos taken
with a device-side camera into iPhoto or the Finder. You can select iPhoto albums to download, whether or not to resize them and
where they should go. You can also choose where to import photos from the device, either into an iPhoto album or a Finder folder
of your choice.
Mac OS X Call Log Application
Access your device's call history on your Mac. The Missing Sync
grabs the data and loads it up in the included Call Log application for Mac OS X.
Mac OS X SMS Log Application
SMS messages are backed up to the Mac during sync operations, where
they can now be viewed using the included SMS Log application.
Install View
To install files or applications in Windows Cabinet (CAB) format, simply drag them to The Missing Sync, and they will be
queued. If your device is connected, files will begin copying immediately, and a progress bar provides status.
General Preferences
Activate sync reminders or automatic checking for updates in the Preferences screen.
Install Preferences
To determine where files get installed on your device, click the Install Files tab in the Preferences window to set destinations
based on file type. For example, GIFs and JPGs are sent to the My Pictures folder by default. Change the default settings or even add your own
mappings.
Shop View
You can even shop for Windows Mobile apps from within The Missing Sync application.
All Windows Mobile apps in the Mark/Space Store can be installed using The Missing Sync's install feature.
