Mark/Space's Missing Sync for Tapwave Enables Synchronization Between Zodiac Handhelds and Mac OS X Desktops

April 2, 2004 - Los Gatos, California - Mark/Space, Inc., makers of the award-winning Missing Sync software family, announces the availability of The Missing Sync for Tapwave(R), enabling users to connect and synchronize information between a Zodiac(TM) console and a Mac computer running Mac OS X v10.2.8 or later via USB or Bluetooth.

Users of the Tapwave Zodiac, an entertainment-focused device based on Palm OS, will not only enjoy fast synchronization of files between their handhelds and Macs, but will be able to benefit from a specially-designed Game Installer developed for games sold through the Tapwave store (www.tapwave.com). While many games designed for the Zodiac only include installers for Windows PC users wrapped in a .zip file, the Missing Sync Game Installer allows Mac users to drag-and-drop these or any .zip file for installation on the Zodiac. It also offers a High Score conduit that enables users to share high scores over the Internet.

Mark/Space Unveils Plans for New Version of Missing Sync, Enabling Synchronization Between Palm OS Cobalt Smart Mobile Devices and Mac OS X Desktops

February 10, 2004 - San Jose (PalmSource Conference) - Palm OS(R) application developers gathered at this year's PalmSource(R) developer conference to learn about the new features of Palm OS(R) Cobalt, though they may recognize one feature not currently included-Mac synchronization. Mac OS(R) X users, however, need not worry. Mark/Space, Inc., makers of the award-winning Missing Sync software family, announces plans for the newest release of Missing Sync for Palm OS, to be released later this year in anticipation of the first Palm OS Cobalt devices. The newest member of the Missing Sync family will enable users to connect and synchronize information between Palm OS Cobalt devices and Macs running Mac OS X via USB, network, WiFi or Bluetooth. The new version, which will support all devices based on Palm OS 4.0 or higher, will also include synchronization support for Tapwave Zodiac handhelds.

With powerful processors and the rich audio/video capabilities of today's Palm Powered devices, many handhelds are used for portable entertainment and photo display. Interview focused on the future of Mac synchronization with Palm OS Cobalt

February 18, 2004 - Los Gatos, CA - Ken Freeman, Missing Sync Product Manager, was featured on the popular online "Your Mac Life" audio program to discuss the recent announcement by PalmSource that its Cobalt OS will not include Mac support and how a future version of Missing Sync will fill the gap.

At the PalmSource conference (February 10-12, 2004), PalmSource introduced attendees to its new Cobalt operating system for next-generation PDAs and smartphones. A significant amount of discussion among attendees and in the media focused on Cobalt's lack of Macintosh support.

During the same conference, Mark/Space announced plans for a future release of Missing Sync for Palm OS that will enable users to connect and synchronize information between Palm OS Cobalt devices (as well as Palm OS 4 and Palm OS 5 devices) and Macs running Mac OS X via USB, network, WiFi or Bluetooth.
